Use maximum covers as per discussion with consultant. abovementioned are for new constructions., Sacrificial anodes are for repairs jobs, If sacrificial anodes are not used, then mix corrosion inhibitors with microconcrete or polymer modified mortar to for concrete repairs this will delay the corrosion reaction with water and moisture. Please note, concrete is porous and reaction will definitely occur, only things by using above methods life of structure can be increased

We have used cold applied zinc plating in one of our projects, in marine tropical conditions, with steel structures, from a company called “Zinga”. It has held up for over 6 years without a trace of rust and should provide much longer according to the manufacture who provides a 20 year product warranty
