Technology is great for communication and also extending support, especially for youth who do not mind technology and want to use apps or ZOOM to connect with a mentor.

Allow autonomy in the long-term horizon of gaining flexibility. Guide: 1. Ruthlessly define your guiding principles and vision. Keep it very simple, as few words and direct as possible. 2. Build a community brand identity framework along those principles. 3. Recruit and empower volunteers that align with those critical expected principles. 4. Experiment! Listen to innovations and best practices from these leaders over the long run. Fail, rinse, and repeat. 5. Build ownership. Volunteers are more likely to be passionate about what they're working on if it was their idea initially. This will bring autonomy and flexibility that works collectively bottom-up rather than top-down.
