Busca los compa?eros que mejor realicen su trabajo e intenta tener una relación cordial con ellos; comienza a observar e imitar sus mejores prácticas; ellos serán mentores no formales. También es importante trabajar en la auto-formación de conocimientos y habilidades que puedan contribuir con el desempe?o del equipo. Estar atento a las tendencias de tu disciplina y de la industria en la que trabajes sea en eventos formales e informales; podrían ser on-line. Fomentar grupos de discusión sobre los principales retos de tu trabajo. Participar en grupos de Linkedln que traten temáticas relacionadas con tu trabajo.

Das Einholen von Feedback ist für meine pers?nliche und berufliche Entwicklung von entscheidender Bedeutung. Ohne einen Mentor kann ich dennoch wertvolles Feedback von verschiedenen Quellen wie Kollegen, meinem Vorgesetzten oder meinem beruflichen Netzwerk erhalten. Dieses Feedback erm?glicht es mir, meine St?rken zu erkennen, an meinen Schw?chen zu arbeiten und aus Fehlern zu lernen. No estoy de acuerdo con el enunciado. Por definición un mentor tiene que ser experto en el área en la cual la persona que va a recibir la mentoria desea mejorar. La única forma de colocar metas retadoras para el proceso de desarrollo y expertis en el área en que se recibe la mentoria es tener una persona como mentor, experta, tanto en la parte técnica como en las habilidades denominadas blandas para desempe?ar de la mejor forma el cargo o especialidad que se desea mejorar. De otra forma , no estaríamos hablando de un mentor, sino de un Coach, que también es válido para mejorar. la única diferencia es que el COACH no necesita ser experto en la parte técnica, que la persona que está recibiendo la mentoria requiere.

Soy docente universitario en la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la UNLP A los alumnos de 5o a?o de la carrera de Lic. en Administración les damos la posibilidad de hacer su PDP (plan de desarrollo personal) con su propio FODA, sus objetivos profesionales (SMART) para perseguir al recibirse y delinear un flujo de fondos con sus inversiones, e incluyendo su educación de posgrado, para que puedan revisarlo cada un cierto tiempo y poder evaluar el progreso. Idealmente debe identificar riesgos y un plan de acción para corregir el rumbo o re-pensar los objetivos si fuera necesario. Un claro ejemplo de la aplicación de la teoría en la práctica en el ámbito personal de cada uno. Ojalá me hubieran ense?ado eso a mí cuando era un estudiante.

This however is only a support and guidance - one still needs to do the heavy lifting, make an effort and forge one's own way ahead, focussing on the immediate and ultimate goals. At end of the day, we are all individually responsible for not only how we receive and process the guidance but also act and make it count.

Even if you have good leadership and/or a good mentor, you still have to have drive. That is not something someone else gives you. It’s internal. Someone that has drive will or should have their own goals that they have established. Find your direction and go. Reading the autobiographies or biographies, of successful business persons, helps with the insights on management practices. What worked & what didn't? Why did it work or otherwise? How did they, overcome the challenges, they faced? Which strategies and practices, can be adopted in your circumstances for the desired results? While at it, why just limit the learning from successful business persons? I've had great learnings from reading about, successful generals, sportsperson, administrators, diplomats, artists, et all!

Dejemos de crear antigüedad profesional, para desarrollar experiencia. Está en nosotros identificar en qué debemos mejorar y buscar los medios para detonar un cambio consistente de mejora, medible y con claro impacto en nuestro desempe?o para con el negocio, los procesos, el equipo y/o la cultura. La otra opción, es no hacer nada y seguir creando antigüedad sin ofrecer nada de calor a tu equipo o tu organización. Algunas preguntas dirás que nos ayudan a reflexionar: Cuantos artículos de que temas leíste en 2023? Cuantos libros y de qué rubro incluiste en tu aprendizaje! Desde que el mundo es mundo, el concepto de Guía o Maestro existe. Todos somos mentores o posibles mentores en la vida de alguien y en la diversidad encontramos opciones que nos ayuden a encontrar sentido a los procesos diarios que vivimos con emociones y situaciones donde solos, no somos capaces de avanzar o de identificar el mejor camino propio.
