It's all about the metrics and numbers. But it also about the correlation of the numbers with the strategies. Sales Quota Attainment, $ Opportunities, Prospect Conversions, Upsell/Cross Sell Expansion, learner engagement, Employee retention or Turnover, Digital Tools Adoption, Customer Satisfaction CSAT, Employee Satisfaction, Net Promoter Score. These are some of the metrics relate to business and employee training.

3 Use a credible and consistent method

To calculate the ROI of your training, you need to use a credible and consistent method that compares the costs and benefits of your training program. One of the most widely used methods is the Kirkpatrick-Phillips model, which evaluates the training on four levels: reaction, learning, behavior, and results. The model also adds a fifth level, ROI, which is calculated by dividing the net benefits (results minus costs) by the costs and multiplying by 100. You need to apply this method consistently across your training programs, using the same criteria, formulas, and assumptions.

The approach always has to be to "Focus on Results" We have a made a Dashboard that measures learner performance and tracks their KPI. LMS daily tracks learner progression based on course completion and assessment scores. Moreover, CRM reports also tracks activities, opportunities and cases. Easy to monitor and share with the relevant Stakeholders.

Quick way to overcome challenges and effectively communicate the ROI is as follows: > the purpose (goals and objectives) has to be clearly articulated > collate data that are relevant and reliable from all concerned to showcase value > Ensure accuracy in interpreting the data using credible and consistent methods that show costs and benefits. > Provide a report that communicates the findings to the stakeholders, managers and decision makers that gives analysis, challenges, limitations, recommendations, and the overall benefits to the employee training. > Ensure that objectives are met for employee development
