Augmented Reality features is new and still in process of development. Thus it is recommended to use native languages for better app performance in ensuring device capability. In my experience using Apple Frameworks, it is clear that AR technologies also have minimum deployment. It is convinient for the developers to ensure that performance issue didn't come from device capabilities for reducing unecessary updates and maintanance.

In my experience, it all comes down to the goals of the project: ?? For greater reach and distribution it's better to sacrifice a bit of performance and go for cross-platform languages. ?? For specific features or audience it is better to go for native programming languages. ?? For fast delivery experiences and limited functionality, opt for WebAR nocode development. If you define well the objectives and scope of the project, there will be no need to think about it too much.
