I honestly don’t know anyone still running Solaris. We replaced it with other Linux based operating systems over 10 years ago.

Funny stuff seeing people claim no one uses Solaris or has little reason to. Plenty still use it because there hasn't been a lot of justification in replacing something that is stable, and an OS less typically targeted for attack since less common in the field. It's commonly found though in government/science/military for that reason. Triton cloud uses it as a base for their hypervisor with kvm/behyve/docker instances all being supported under basically a SunOS kernel. Read a recent OmniOS or OpenIndiana administrator's guide, or Solaris one appropriate to the release your using, but Solaris is still relevant whether you think so or not. A lot of storage array products also still use it since it just works and is what ZFS was built for.
