100% agree. We spend too much time at work not to try and enjoy it. Teams who have fun and laugh together are more productive, and also are enjoyable to be around. Organizing social activities is difficult for the new remote / hybrid environment. I try to make sure that at least one hour per week is set aside for games or unstructured coffee time.

As recent as minutes ago, I was telling my toddler boy that doing one thing repetitively helps someone to become an expert. He went to a sports training where he does the same thing all over again, every week. But, that's only what he feels. As someone who observes the training, there is a little difference every week which at the end of the day accumulates and becomes progress. Repetitiveness with little progressive tweak for growth helps build an expert.

I direct him or her to different tasks and various activities from time to time, motivate him/her morally and materially, and show him/her my pride in the achievements he makes. If I see some talents that he/she has, I enhance them through training courses and tasks that suit him/her, and I see what needs he/she needs and provide them for them, especially if he/she is a hardworking employee.
