How can you meet deadlines while traveling for work?

Critical to make sure that every time you pack your bags, your business is equipped with everything it needs to keep running smoothly. Also ensure your partners and employees won't feel abandoned as you jet-set to the next location on your bucket list, is a must.

Don't delegate your tasks up until the last moment because everything will not be in your favour always So plan ahead of time and always have a back up when a sudden travel calls you. Always expect some disruption, in that way you will always be aware.

Communicate Proactively: Inform your colleagues and clients about your travel dates and availability. Set expectations for when you'll be reachable and responsive.

I try to clear urgent deadlines before I go and delegate the rest. That’s why I’m sure you can relate to the pre travel rush of work just before going on leave or overseas ??

A great practice for me is to work during the trip. It helps me to catch-up with time. This is where the concept of traveling with a private jet becomes interesting. But for those that can't afford it, they can still work while being in the bus, airplane, car (given they are not the ones driving) I'll recommend plugin your earphones, and putting on your favorite playlist while working. Working will keep you distracted during the trip, plus it will bring you closer to completing the task before its deadline.

When its come to working hard a lot of people get it wrong. Working for 6 hours straight is not the only way to do hardwork,if it involves a lot of distraction and a tired mind. 3 hours of focused work is better than 6 hours of distracted work. So make sure to keep your phone away and start your work in a peaceful environment.
