How can you measure the success of stakeholder communication during training?

In my experience, I will be creating a clear stakeholder's communication matrix by using the RACI matrix tool: R (responsibility), A (accountability), C-Consult and I (inform), along with presenting the Training MIS which includes various post-training behaviors , Evaluation ,ROI Etc. .I strongly believed that without stakeholders accountability, we can't measure the success of stakeholder communication during training.

I do beleive that the communication to any stakeholders should be well structured, clear and straight to the point in a well designed visual format. Even if the elaboration is required to strengthen your view, I suggest to keep it to the minimum requirement to support your argument only. Stick to factual data, trend analysis, realistic outlook and never ever over promise under any circumstances. The biggest fall we all do, we get over excited and over promise. Our tone should be well balanced and monitored. Last but not least, get some interaction from the stakeholders/audience to keep you intact for the buy in signs to meet your objectives.

Stakeholders must have a clear buy in to the company vision, mission, and values in order to truly receive company messaging. If they feel that they have an opportunity to make a genuine impact, stakeholders will be more receptive to information being relayed. Hence why it is important to assess personal values and how they relate to company values during the interview process, prior to hire. This ensures a higher level of interest and feeling of teamwork toward common goals from the beginning. Once you have set expectations for the stakeholder contribution along with their buy in, communication of the grand plan should be received with cooperation.

I recommend using SMARTIE communication goals. This means your goals should be: S: specific; M: measurable; A: achievable; R: relevant; T: time-bound; I: inclusive; and E: equitable. This demonstrates your commitment to ensuring all voices have the opportunity to be heard and that your organization is committed to equity and inclusion.

Think color..as marketers have known for a long time that color induces different emotions in the brain and the stomach. Next cut out at least a 1/3 of all your product. It's too much, think of attention span. Most of us are like goldfish - give it to me fast or I'm disinterested. Then make sure the graphic displayed has a short sentence to communicate the result. Communication on the report should be simplistic, concise, and honest. I believe many times communication of how projects are going are muddied too many words, and too many thoughts. In the report, it should also state where the communication is coming from. if they are team members, I would have the team member listed and their analysis of the project short and sweet. This will help the stakeholder also get acquainted with the team.. another way these reports can be looked at is through a metric called TRELLO this is a dynamic way to organize any project all team members and stakeholders can use it together or separate as well as see what other thoughts or ideas are being used?

This seems to take a simple concept and over-complicate it. While there is value in polling your audience about the effectiveness of the communication method/message, creating SMART goals around communication seems like cracking a nut with a sledgehammer.
