Whether our culture leans towards collective decision-making or designates a leader for the final say, we rely on inputs, advice, and recommendations from various sources to make optimal decisions that benefit customers, businesses, and organizations. Cultivating a culture that respects diverse opinions, even though it's challenging to satisfy everyone, is invaluable. Embracing this approach not only enhances decision-making but also fosters trust and builds a sustainable organizational culture.

Clearly define the goals of the communication plan with the stakeholders. Specific measurable goals should be taken into account.

Usually, the best KPI to track the effectiveness of your communication plan or methodology is just check the results of the project itself. When - The milestones are achieved on time - The financial indicators are save - The customers are satisfied There is a clear signal that the steakholders are well communicated and the team has SMART goals.

1- Feedback Surveys: Collect stakeholder feedback on the communication plan’s clarity, inclusivity, and impact. 2- Metrics Tracking: Monitor engagement metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates) to assess communication effectiveness.

Identify metrics aligned with your goals that can indicate effectiveness. These indicators may include feedback surveys from stakeholders, follow-up of internal discussions and decisions, and the main thing is that they match the project plan

Monitor the reach of your communication efforts by tracking the number of stakeholders who receive your materials such as emails, presentations, and workshops. Assess engagement through metrics like email open rates and click-through rates for online resources. Keep track of attendance and participation levels at diversity awareness events or workshops. Additionally, measure social media engagement by monitoring likes, shares, and comments on posts related to diversity awareness from your program's social media accounts.

Creating continuous and open communication channels with a view to achieving the goals of the project, adapted to all stakeholders in the project. It is important to have continuous information to ensure progress. It is also important to ensure adequate personnel and resources to carry out the communication successfully.

With objectives and metrics in place, it's time to implement the selected communication plan. Leverage various channels such as company-wide emails, intranet portals, team meetings, workshops, and social media platforms to disseminate information and engage stakeholders. Tailor your messaging to resonate with diverse audiences, ensuring relevance and inclusivity across all communications. There are many channels that are not so obvious and they can require some creativity to obtain.
