How can you manage your time effectively when working with customers?

Es importante identificar cuáles son las tareas más urgentes y cuáles pueden esperar, así como el tiempo estimado que requiere cada una. También es conveniente comunicar a los clientes tus plazos y expectativas, y negociar con ellos si hay cambios o imprevistos. Por último, es fundamental evitar las distracciones y enfocarte en lo que estás haciendo, sin perder de vista tus objetivos y tu calidad de trabajo.

Always plan ahead and understand the audience of your clientele, prioritize the simple tasks that can be completed urgently and have a proper sequence to follow.

To optimize my time with customers, I prioritize active listening to understand their needs thoroughly. I allocate time efficiently by setting clear objectives for each interaction and maintaining a balance between addressing their concerns and conveying relevant information. This approach ensures a personalized and effective engagement, fostering positive relationships.

Proper planning as you have said,mis en place is very key and vital before lighting a gas.This is like fuel we need to get the kitchen running without any hiccups.

Before starting your shifts set your goals within that day, check everything start from the product, people and equipment, then the rest monitoring is the key also. Prioritize the things need to be done in a day. Make sure everything is set , prepared , detailed.Be authentic, put things first, specially guest/customers. Keep calm when things go wrong, make sure every situations has a back plan or a solution to make sure everything is under control when it comes to guests or customers concerns.

Talking to the customer is second only in my book to getting their drink or food to them. Sometimes it's just not possible, but if that's the case, then there's something wrong with your staffing level. What's the difference between hospitality and customer service? It's a fine line. Think of it as customer service being in black and white, hospitality is not only colour, but shining neon. It will make you stand out from everyone around you as there are very few venues actually offering outstanding hospitality.

when it comes to task we need to delegate and collaborate well with the other staff or co workers, and make sure they are productive and experts when it comes in dealing guests, they know how to handle situations or task that they given / rendered to them. they need to show their expertise in other words they know what they are doing to have a smooth flow of your operations. To avoid any confusions and misunderstanding as a manager/ supervisor you need to position your staffs on the positions that you know they are capable of and productive.

we need to make sure that we have a back solutions when it comes to unexpected situations, we need to shoe empathy to guest when they encounter such dissatisfaction during their visits or dine, we need to consider also that they come here for best experience not for disappointments, that is why we need to give our 100% customer service experience.

Inform & educate your client Another way to manage your time effectively is to inform and educate your client. Let's say you are working in bank retail, and you are in charge of selling. But when your client have a problem, he will contact you instead of contacting the client desk. So in order to avoid some predictable time wasters, make a list of it ( analyse one month of time wasters) and prepare a doc you will communicate to your client to make sure they will contact you for the right reasons and which you are able and skilled to answer
