One thing I have found helpful is formalizing change requests to avoid scope creep. As a Team/Company, implement a formal process for evaluating and approving changes and have a specific board that will manage this. Any deviation from the original app development scope should go through this process; approve changes that align with the project's scope and decline those that disrupt it.

The most important thing is to create detailed tasks, assign tasks and track them in everyday scrum call. A project management tool can be utilised for the same or simple excel sheet works. Daily meeting with project/development manager is important. The better your tasks are defined, project execution will be very straight forward. Developers are good at tasks execution but not defining the tasks. Do discuss the tasks everyday as to what is completed and not. Team must update the project tracker every day. Define the front-end and back-end tasks separately. Clear definition of tasks in detail is half the battle won.
