DO NOT use a one-size-fits-all template when communicating with candidates. AI and automation tools are amazing and very efficient. However, a human touch and some personalization go a long way when it comes to good candidate experience.

Personally, I have a preference for avoiding the use of templates or automation tools when following up with candidates. I tend to utilize them more for the initial contact, which I then customize. When it comes to follow-ups, I believe in providing valuable feedback to the candidates. If I've reviewed a resume and there are specific reasons why a candidate isn't proceeding to the next stage, I find it beneficial to share this information with them, to understand the rationale behind the decision. The same with the interviews feedback. While you can have templates with essential information for all candidates, personalizing the follow-up message undoubtedly makes a more significant impact.
