How can you manage conflicts among pavement stakeholders?

Eventhough construction work in itself is hugely coordinated work of multi-disciplinary teams,pavement works are also equally if not more multi-disciplinary works.However as per our experience its much more challenging to successfully manage the works.This is because these works are taken up generally at fag end of project where the time is in shortage.So a succesful approach begins with timely onboarding of different agencies.The most common stakeholders include Client,PMC,A&E consulants,cost consultants,GC,Drainage,Watersupply,External electricals,Gas,ELV,fire protection,liasoning etc agencies. Once all the stakeholders are on boarded a coordination meeting can be organzied for establishing the connect between different teams.

Problemas em pavimentos necessitam do check básico de controle tecnológico de camadas de base, sub-base e sub-leito, CBRs considerados e condi??es de qualidade da camada final de pavimento aplicada, além de fotos de registro e checklist de recebimentos. Se as camas de base n?o eram responsabilidade de quem aplicou a camada de revestimento final, se era algo já entregue ok pelo cliente, ent?o, por exemplo, a contratada da massa asfáltica n?o pode ser responsabilizada. As responsabilidades de cada parte sempre devem estar claras no início do contrato e nas negocia??es. Assim, os riscos de cada um ficam transparentes e devem ser assumidos em caso de problemas.

This is almost impossible, but in a situation when it arises, it's always ideal to start-off with ADR techniques before embarking on full-scale litigation. As a casestudy if we consider simplest of project like pavement work inside the compound wall of a villa project,following sequence would ensure conflicts amongst stakeholders are minimised: -Levelling of ground to the desired FFL less paver block thickness which involves the movement of heavy equipment such as JCB etc -Completing the facade works which involves the usage of scaffold works -Laying provisions like pipes for electrical cables,ELV cables etc duly excavating and refilling -Laying of drainage lines to the desired gradients/construction of chambers duly taking care finished paver levels including testing -Laying of water supply lines with due excavations/refilling -Laying of the paver blocks with due care of finished levels.
