Web accessibility is hard and doing it yourself can be a waste of time - others have already done it! I would always try to use web frameworks, design systems and UI libraries that to that job automatically for you for 90% of your features. Afterwards you can try to check the usage behaviour from your powerusers. What are the most clicked elements? What are common paths? -> implement hotkeys and shortcuts for that specifically and educate your users intuitively within the UI

Here is why you should care: - low contrast = bad design (ever tried to read white text on neon-yellow background?) - you are excluding many users (low vision, color blindness etc.) - it is super easy to fix I would instead use online tools to check contrast. Lighthouse can tell you for a specific site if any contrast is insufficient - use it for you landingpages! In general please validate your color and design system with contrast checkers. You can see which combinations of foreground and background colors are good and which are unsufficient.

Captions and transcripts are usually overseen by developers because they are not mandatory. But depending on your use case, this can be crucial! If you only have a single product video on your landingpage, this will not be game-changing for you. But if your product is a video platform, media player, music service, social platform or anything like that, you can not skip this. I would recommend to use libraries for this that encapsulate this behaviour for you. If you do it yourself, remember to give subtitles to videos and audios and place captions on all images.
