Sempre rolam muitas discuss?es, dúvidas, novidades e ideias nesses grupos e lá também mora a chance de quem quer n?o só aprender como arrumar um novo emprego ou até contratar alguém.

With continuously evolving data and tools, its always recommended to keep yourself up to date with the latest tech developments. It is also recommended to do short projects and display them on your social media or work profile to garner the necessary attention from the right organisation.

In my opinion, be relevant to the latest technologies of BI specifically ETL and visualization tools. Most used tool in the market and it's pros and cons so that you can convince how your knowledge will help to enhance and evolve the existing projects. Preferably why to go for open source technologies than licensed one.

The greatest soft skill a BI professional (and in general a data professional) can possess is curiosity. Curiosity about the business. Curiosity about the business' problems. Curiosity about what's in the data. Curiosity about the tools available in the data world. Curiosity about how to get things done more efficiently. This isn't to say you must always feed every curiosity but you should be curious because that's how you evolve and increase your awareness and potential to create value to your employer.

That said, make sure that you are sharing your new knowledge to your team, along with sites for additional learning, bring it up in your 1:1s, and use new tips and tricks to make your work stand out from your co-workers in good ways.

Learning how to use specific tools is important. Being able to build robust dashboards and analysis certainly helps. However in my experience the things that most differentiates GREAT folks is their actual understanding of the business and their stakeholders. Great BI folks know why what they're building matters. They understand how the metrics they're being asked to share makes a difference to their stakeholders, and how it moves the business. So in addition to learning tools, make sure you take time to study your business. Spend time with your stakeholders to learn how they run their team, what their priorities are, and how they think. From there, you'll build better dashboards.

As analysts, we sometimes forget the people aspect of things as we are trudging through data. Make sure your soft skills are just as strong as your analytical skills. This will make the difference in ensuring the message you intend is coming through and if you are invited to the table for deeper discussions into insights and actions. Also, make sure you understand who your customer is. If they need just high level or if they need a deeper dive into the data to pull out more detailed insights. It can also change what KPIs are important to look at.

Your work would speak for itself. My suggestion would be to just be yourself and don’t overdo things. Suggest new ideas and relevant solutions as and when required. All of this is possible if you keep yourself up to date with new updates and emerging technologies.
