The OnePager can include information like the Sprint Goal, key highlights of the Sprint and a few metrics. Don't forget to keep it simple! 2- Use the visual power of the Product Backlog to create alignment with your stakeholders. It is much easier to create alignment when you use something visual and not just "words". Share your screen and simply show it! 3- If you want to share progress and results of multiple teams consider creating a Dashboard with a BI tool (e.g. Power BI, QlikView). With a Dashboard you can create a high level overview of metrics and KPIs

I guess transparency beings with effective communication, for ex: once the sprint items are finalized at start, its nice to send out an email to stake holders along with list of user stories and their priorities also Done criteria and to continue the thread at the end of sprint showcasing burndown, Velocity, Spill overs if any. These reports can be extracted from any common tool. Making the board visible all the times and encouraging team mates to move the cards from one Column to another during DSM.

It is the responsibility of the development team and to be agreed by the scrum team as whole. The DoD is an artefact of the increments. Due to its importance and severity, several experts consider DoD as the fourth rule in the artefact (eg. the 3-5-3 rule becomes 3-5-4).

One of the most significant things and probably first things in the scrum team about transparency, is to create a shared understanding among all the team members about the definiton or real meaning of Done. All the living documents like project charter or roadmap must be reviewed regularly. The sprint demo or retro outcome must be documented and reviewed for further actions .

However, there is often a tendency to focus on forms and ceremonies that put undue energy into performance of the ceremonial aspects. This typically fails both to provide opportunity to support the honest conversations needed, and to be broadly inclusive to all participants. Reflection is meaningless without corresponding action. It's important to pair your key reflections with commitments to shared actions that can explore addressing them, with mutual support to enable those actions to be taken.

Conducting thorough sprint reviews and setting actionable objectives is vital for continual improvement in Agile. However, retrospectives can sometimes devolve into repetitive discussions of organization-wide issues beyond the team's control. To prevent this, the Scrum Master plays a crucial role. Scrum has very little to say about what matters in effective communication: and sadly, the tools available do very little to positively address the deficit. Communication is fundamentally about humans interacting: one of the golden rules of communication is to understand the skills, needs, and preferences of stakeholders in the communication, and then adapt a solution accordingly to suit all parties. One problem is that many community practices and tools are normative: assuming stereotypical needs, preferencing certain types of communication modes and assuming all parties have equal skills, needs, preferences, access, etc. Pro Tip: Take the time to discuss and agree on communication approaches that support equity and inclusion.

Frequent communicate is really important to stakeholders. Team should keep them informed of any known risks asap. Though this is not part of scrum, it applies to team whom doesn’t have a 100% attendance PO.

Create moments and space for your team and your stakeholders to get to know one another. In the virtual space it's much harder to get to know the people we work with, and to maintain connections with those people. Create space by dedicating time at the start of each event to chat. Create dedicated events for the group to just hang. We can't commit to each other or hold each other accountable if we don't know or care about each other.

Schedule regular sprint retrospectives where the team reflects on what went well, what didn't and what could be improved. Support open discussions and prioritize action items to implement improvements in the next sprint. Create feedback loops within the team and with stakeholders. Encourage team members to provide constructive feedback to each other also during daily stand-up meetings. Seek feedback from customers and stakeholders to continuously refine product features. Promote a culture of experimentation amd support the team to try new approaches, tools or techniques to enhance their processes. Remind that it's okay to make mistakes as long as there is a commitment to learning and iterating for improvement.

Apart from the ceremonies, it is really important to get feedback and actually evaluate it. During sprints, immediate feedback can be obtained if stakeholders are involved in all aspects of the project (hello, trust&transparency!) Also IMO it is very important to get feedback after an increment (or all of them) has been delivered. This helps to prevent the accumulation of technical debt, and further requests or fixes can be added back into the project scope/budget if necessary and resources allow.

The three Dev teams that I work with recently started including a slide in our sprint review decks targeted at soliciting feedback. We include our Email addresses and links to our DMs in Slack, and we even include a link to a three-question survey for any anonymous feedback. Earlier in the year, we polled stakeholders to learn more about what we might want to stop, start, or continue including in our sprint reviews, and we've been diligent to incorporate appropriate suggestions into our processes. The teams also consider what (if any) changes to implement during every retro, and we share any relevant kaizen items with our stakeholders in subsequent sprint reviews.

Feedback is a gift. Look for feedback from all stakeholders. Also, don't withhold feedback. Doing so can deny a team member an opportunity to view a new perspective, as well as grown and learn themselves.

By far the most important job for any artefacts in Scrum is to assist the growth of understanding. But how to make understanding "transparent and accessible"? Nope - this is another tools-led question that is hopelessly off track even in asking the question, never mind in attempting to give an answer. Keep the artefacts simple and lightweight - as aide-memoirs not as specification documents. Then transparency and accessibility is easy given that the people concerned have adequate understanding - and we can readily see and address those who don't, by the questions they ask. Yes, Scrum provides a skeletal framework to help you step past the blank-page problem: however, this also enables a lack of consistency, differences of opinion about what matters, where to start and how to conduct work using Scrum - further complicated by a range practitioner misunderstandings. Avoid the traps of considering Scrum a) a solution, a destination: think of it instead as a way to get started - an entry point, and b) practitioners as equal: consistency and alignment need to be built within each team, each project, etc.

Transparency requires trust! Without trust we will never get to the transparency required to be able to see what's going on. Trust is not something that just appears or is default, it is the result of demonstrating behaviours that others see and value. The Scrum values are a core concept that help enable trust and thus transparency. Courage, respect, openness, commitment, and focus are not optional, they are a fundamental part of Scrum.
