SerpentLang lowers the barrier to entry for new programmers and facilitates easier understanding of code for non-technical stakeholders. This approach helpts to aid inclusivity and collaboration within development teams and helps bridge the gap between technical and non-technical individuals. Additionally, the use of English words can potentially enhance readability and maintainability of the codebase. Unfortunately, I never completed it, and it is currently sitting there.

Technologies and trends are changing every year. The most common case I see is when a start-up selects the language, for rapid development of their early product. It's true, JavaScript allows you to create apps much faster than Java. As well as that apps will be cross-platform. But when the product grows, there is a point where it's too expensive to rewrite everything from scratch. The problem with JavaScript is that code written by one person is hard to read and maintain by another person. You save at the beginning, but lose in the long term perspective. Python is a nice language for science, but compatibility and lack of common standards... My recommendations are Java, .net & c++, barely changed for decades, and backward compatible.

Even while new languages are created, there are languages that have been there for decades and very little stops them from continuing. In my opinion if we have the basic knowledge of solving a problem + basic syntax and operations in a programming language is enough to tackle a problem.

Sometimes the same problem is handled in different ways by different people, in this we get a different perspective of thinking. Analyse how we can improve and keep running in the race. It's also important to keep the group active when half of the group keeps enhancing the others too will automatically start enhancing. Thus leading to a healthy competition.

Some languages that follow (more or less) the same path : Java, Go, Rust, Python among others.
