Tech evaluation is similar to a doctor's learning routine. The way doctors have to stay up to date with medical science evolution, we engineers also have drastic changes in tech that we need to stay up to date with. While designing tech stack for a project, we must do a quick RnD on latest tools/services/methods that are out in the market. Based on new methods, next step would be to calculate efforts, cost & security metrics for the project.
