I've always got bored of most meetings where only one person is talking and the agenda is never fulfilled, many times going off topic. It's essential to create an agenda and jot down several points beforehand, keep things interesting and also allow your team members to participate, have a clear simple communication method and data projections which are easy to understand. Meetings should be interactive brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and processes to better align with the teams and organizational goals.

One thing I found helpful is to have it written infront of you. Even we are in the world dominamt in technology, I still believe in the power of pen and paper to keep the clear objectives infront of your eyes to focus and grow.
