To bake speed in you must have a few necessary skills: SOLID principles, Test Coverage, your own integration environment with suitable mocks and test doubles (ie: Martin Fowler’s testing pyramid, typically defined in Infrastructure as Code), reasonable integration test coverage that grows with your use cases, an ounce of automation (gitops) or shift-left mentality (lint,unit-test,IAC sec-test,SAST,etc), then CI/CD. Oversimplified, but that’s the basics!!
