How can you increase renewable energy education and awareness?

I post about it responsibly and positively on social media. Helping the public to learn about how it works can go a long way to promoting it.

What is most important, is to base our approach to renewables onto valid numbers, datas and facts. Only then we can achieve a solid understanding of renewable energy. There are that many so called self-proclaimed "experts" on the topic, whose only intention is just making money. Once we have gained a deeper insight, we might understand, that most "renewables" have a negative impact. So the real experts need to become multiplicators and trained accordingly: Apprentices in electromecanicals, electronics and mechanics! Therefore deep knowledge is required there and the motivation to spread it on an objective level. This is, what I intended to do with my apprentices in the corresponding classes at. e. g. SIEMENS and Universities

In my opinion, renewable energy studies should be taught in all levels of education. From the basic levels where kids in schools are aware of the various fields in renewable energy to our higher institutions of learning. This will naturally bring about it's awareness and speciality in this field. Also, it's knowledge will be wide spread and this will bridge the gap of it's application for both domestic and industrial use.

1. Incorporate renewable energy into school curriculums: This can be done at all levels, from elementary school to college. 2. Host public events and workshops: This is a great way to reach a wider audience and get people talking about renewable energy. 3. Businesses and organizations: They can offer training to their employees, support renewable energy projects, and advocate for policies that promote renewable energy. 4. Get involved in your community: You can volunteer for a renewable energy organization, attend local government meetings, and write a project proposal to your elected officials. By taking these steps, It'd help to increase renewable energy education and awareness and create a more sustainable future.

In my family we have an 11 year old electric car. It has been used as the second car for all city transportation purposes. That’s about 9.000 km each year! You can calculate how many Liters of gasoline that can be saved.

Sharing knowledge is vital in the spread of renewable energy education. As a field specialist, I used every social media platform to share projects executed, pros and cons, succes stories and many more. I believe the more people talk about renewable energy, the more it's knowledge spreads.

An example of encouragement in the field of renewable energy is the establishment of vocational training centers across all sectors. This provide the opportunity to engage young brains and hands to contribute to the transition from bio fuel to renewable energy options.

Encourage schools to implement renewable energy projects on their campuses, such as solar panels, wind turbines, or energy-efficient technologies. These projects can serve as real-life learning experiences. Partner with businesses and organizations that are committed to renewable energy. This can help to raise awareness of renewable energy and to encourage people to support it.

Renewable energy, in all its forms, offers economic advantages and benefits our environment. Even children today grasp its significance. I recall the wonder I felt when I understood renewable energy, envisioning a future where self-sufficiency in energy production was magical. As a child, I encountered a small solar-powered science toy kit that operated with a solar cell (without batteries). Witnessing this simple yet ground breaking technology was akin to witnessing magic for me. Renewable energy isn't just about power generation; it's about empowering minds, fostering innovation, and creating a more sustainable future. Promoting benefits must avoid to overemphasize advantages downplay or outright ignore disadvantages or create an ideologically ?greenwashed“ idealization of using renewables. I.e. in a nation power grid renewable energies are the volatile energy forms and there is either an industrial scale buffer system or the amount of volatile energies must be limited to a maximum for safety and stability.

The first step to take is to increase renewable energy awareness,that is to explain the basic concept & principle of renewable energy,(2) discuss on the different types of renewable energy sources(3) how do they work (4) thier advantage & disadvantage,(5) discus the benefits with neighbours & (6) form a coalition cos the more people we get on board for renewable energy the better for us all..
