Public diplomacy is one of the instrumental soft power tools that an Organisation or a state adopts to enhance its capacity building. The driving factor that posits a profound development in this regard is the communication via cultural traits between different public networks. Moreover, the state ambassadors are the great agents in this regard. This, the pivot of public diplomacy largely lies in expanding humanitarian values. The more a nation takes part in promoting humanitarian tasks in terms of preventing disease, poverty and illiteracy both regionally and globally, the more it elevates its prestige and dignity. Above all, in this era of global connectivity, the scope of public diplomacy is immensely developing.

A great way to empower your public diplomacy (PD) network is by making learning opportunities accessible to all equally, or at least as equally as possible. Running a global PD network comes with its challenges and time zone limitations can work against us. However, advancements in videoconferencing technologies enable us to be more inclusive than ever before. I once organised a training on accessible web communications for the PD network in my region after seeing the same training offered in capital and to colleagues in nearby time zones. It took some detective work but ultimately 12 colleagues and I were able to get access to the training, helping us to not only refine our work but also to connect with colleagues across time zones.
