First I think of a single word to describe the theme or emotion that I want to convey subliminally. Then I search for a stock image that I feel best conveys that theme. After that, I just start adding happy trees ?? everywhere like Bob Ross ?? and moving and resizing stuff until it makes a scene that tells a story & looks good to me. ?? I prefer to make my art humorous because I feel like if you make people laugh they will remember you. ??

Defining the purpose and audience helps in choosing the right image. Always select good quality images, edit and enhance whenever necessary. A good tool I swear by is Canva premium. Image placement also holds importance, try various placements to understand suitability. There should be a balance between design elements and they should complement one another. A thematic representation in the design makes it acceptable and interesting. Choice of font also can make or break the impact of the design.

One of the best ways to incorporate images into designs is by editing them- a lot. Photoshop has so many great, underrated features that help achieve crazy effects. From using threshold to gradient maps to a mixture of many effects to get a specific look- experimenting with everything Photoshop has to offer is a great way of using images in creative ways. It also is a fantastic way of making a design hyper specific- if you are going for a pixelated, retro, or futuristic look, all of those things are achievable by just going crazy on Photoshop!
