Most of the problems can be solved by understanding or rather diagnosing them better. What seems to be complex, may not be so complex when we realize the innate nature or sometimes the source of such a problem. Problems at a broader level could be related to either people or process. Determining what we are looking at in terms of a problem-solution equation, clarifies our way further as to what would be ideal solutions. Sometimes there are more than one solution to a problem. An approach for resolution should aim at damage control if any- make good the situation for no one likes unpleasant outcomes- prevention if there seems to be a risk of the concerned problem resurfacing. Understanding the problem brings about half the resolution.

Los conflictos son inherentes a la vida, tanto en lo personal como en el ámbito laboral. He estado presente en soluciones exitosas y otras no tanto. En un trabajo anterior, un jefe tenía a un amigo entre sus subordinados. Después de una cena de empresa, la relación entre tres de los suyos se acabó, llevando a marcharse al que no era amigo. En otro caso, dos de los mejores jefes de venta generaban un ambiente tóxico. El director se encerró con ellos en una sala. Después de la reunión todo se convirtió en respeto. Esto nos resaltan que la gestión efectiva de conflictos es lo primero... According to me the most important thing in developing problem solving skills in a team, is to understand that any problem that crept in is to be considered as problem of the team only instead problem of individuals of the team. In such mind set any problem could be avoided early or could be resolved immediately once it is handled collectively. Team leader has to put oneself in front to address and handle issues which would motivate others to volunteer in resolving the same
