How can you implement Agile app development in a large organization?

Hold Regular Retrospectives: Conduct frequent retrospectives to assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes in subsequent iterations. Encourage Open Communication

In my experience, defining OKR's (objective and key results) has been extremely useful for me and the project teams I have worked with. It is great tool to objectively define that by end of a project or a timeline, what are we planning to achieve. And because of Agile framework, team should measure the progress periodically and take next steps accordingly.

Core to the agile framework are the principles behind the Agile Manifesto. Understanding how to apply the techniques learned and adapting those techniques accordingly (eg techops deliverables are better managed using Kanban, vendor deliverables may still require tracking thru a project plan, etc) while keeping the business objectives in mind is key. Retrospectives allow teams to reflect at regular intervals (usually after every sprint) to course correct. Working software is the primary measure of progress as long as it aligns to the business expectations. Clear roles - especially having a clear product owner - is key to a high performing team.

I think it is very hard to find "the" framework to follow. Even within a single organization the needs may be different between teams. In my experience the best results are achieved by constantly adapting to current needs instead of following any framework strictly.

another aspect that is also worth considering is that the team which part of agile team need to respect and have the same understanding of the agile way of working.

Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is a great vehicle if used correctly. Aimed at getting an early feedback it should allow easy extension or course correction while not neglecting quality. Unfortunately, I can recall examples where MVP traded quality and adaptability for packing functionality aimed at pleasing certain customer or a group of users. That way the output was by no means viable but rather incomplete, inferior and non-extensible product.

Communication is the key to success, that goes without saying. Team of expert resources can fail the project if not communicated well to team members, stakeholders, customers etc.

It is impossible to stress enough how important it is to gather metrics and act on them. I worked on multiple projects where a steer was given by Product Owners without any data behind. I worked in multiple teams where ways of working were changing without any input from team members.
