How can you identify potential conflicts in urban planning with stakeholder mapping?

Atualmente trabalho como autonomo, tenho minha empresa e consigo analisar os stakeholders da seguinte maneira. Hoje eles s?o os meus clientes e etapas dos processos dos servi?os que ofere?o.

Actualmente gerencio proyectos de construcción en Perú, y he visto como el factor social tiene una influencia alta, por lo que como parte de la gestión del proyecto, y que resulta indispensable, es la gestión de los Stakeholders y su identificación temprana, sobre todo a aquellos que son externos al proyecto y que posiblemente tengan intereses ocultos que son necesarios mitigar.

Stakeholder mapping is useful to identify the potential actors in the system of both urban and rural planning. These potential actors acts as the spokesperson, nominated by the communities and the people benefiting from the development. This is how an Urban Planner can reach the grassroot problems and provide solutions based on the demand of the population.

Methods for stakeholder mapping varies due to the needs, resources, complexity of the project. These methods can very simple or complex such as social network analysis. Outputs and process of the stakeholder mapping itself can be used as a tool for sound engagement. This may increase the cognitive awareness of the stakeholders of project stakeholder ecosystem. Another key notion is taking in to account the unit of analysis. When the units are organisations rather than individuals, then the methodology needs to be more in depth because of the organisational dynamics within.

Particularmente uso la Matriz de Interesados donde además de los interesados propios del proyecto, se identifica, con visitas a campo y muchas veces acompa?ados con especialistas en Sociología, a los interesados externos del proyecto, sobre todo líderes de comunidades.

Applying the knowledge of "social psychology" would deep dive in to the conflicts with stakeholder mapping. Dependiendo de los interesados detectados y de sus posibles intereses, se establece una estrategia e inclusive se contrata personal especializado en ello, todo depende del riesgo analizado.
