Bevor sie also loslegen, sollten sie eine genaue Umfeldanalyse durchführen und schauen, welche anderen Angebote und L?sungsans?tze es bereits gibt. Wenn sie ein v?llig neues Projekt planen, sollten sie versuchen, F?rderlücken zu identifizieren und diese mit ihrem Angebot zu schlie?en. Sie zeigen besonders gut den Unterschied zwischen dem was man tut und dem was man bewirkt - alles ganz logisch. Demnach wird unterschieden zwischen den zur Verfügung stehenden Inputs (den Ressourcen wie Geld, Zeit oder Wissen), den Outputs (den Angeboten wie Workshops oder Materialien) und den daraus folgenden Outcomes (den Ver?nderungen bei der Zielgruppe) und dem Impact (der Ver?nderung auf gesellschaftlicher Ebene). Der Knackpunkt liegt zwischen Output und Outcome, hier entscheidet sich die Wirkung.

Allein in Deutschland gibt es rund 650.000 gemeinnützige Organisationen. Die passende Organisation zu finden, die man unterstützen m?chte, gleicht der Suche nach der Nadel im Heuhaufen. Dies gilt umso mehr, wenn man noch nicht genau wei?, in welchem Themenfeld man sich finanziell engagieren m?chte, welche F?rderlücken und/oder Trends es gibt, welche Form des Engagements - ob gemanagte Gro?spende, Stiftung oder doch Impact Investing - für einen die richtige ist. In Deutschland gibt es unter anderem das gemeinnützige Analyse- und Beratungshaus PHINEO, das Philanthropen wie Unternehmen von der Engagementstrategie bis zum konkreten F?rderprojekt begleitet und einen guten Marktüberblick hat.
