From my perspective, with very simple way you can do are use your AVO meter, select Ohm measure or continuous mode, bring your one probe at ground power cord and another one to metal body of the device, monitor the value should can reach 0.2 ohm (lower value is better) within 1 to 2 minutes, if it the value relatively constant it mean your ground connection is OK, if that have unstable value it mean something problem with ground connection
