In my hospital, there are junior doctors and colleagues, who reach out to me for statistical advice. I follow the policy of making them walk 2 steps with me and asking them to walk the remaining 8 steps, ofcourse under my supervision. What i mean is, I will take their data, develop an activity list and activity schedule to be undertaken as a part of statistical analysis. I will then undertake a sample of analysis under each activity type in front of the mentee (sitting right next to me). This process as I have noticed has helped boosting the confidence of mentee in a huge way. I was also able to impact many people, as I saved time.
