Shooting inside with my good camera and lenses was no problem, but no matter how weather proof they were, I really did not want to use them outside in the blowing snow. I ended up using my iPhone to get them exterior photos immediately. They turned out pretty good. I did go back a couple of days later when the weather was sunny and got better photos for them.

I have a 24mm Canon tilt-shift that I use with my Sony cameras and am thinking about getting the 17mm Canon tilt-shift. The tilt-shift lens allows you to get your camera up high enough to see over a kitchen island so that you can see the stove/oven control knobs, then adjust it down to see the bar stools, floor, or what ever else you want to have in your composition. It also allows you to take photos at multiple heights of the high ceiling rooms which can be stitched together in post in Photoshop. This can be a very useful tool in your interior photographic repertoire!
