You can also add auto captions to your text; with many style options. Additionally, you can add overlay videos, stickers, images and audio. This step is difficult. Crank out content. Consistency is key. Find a balance between quality and consistency that you can maintain. This is extremely important. Consistency is what the algorithm loves more than anything else. It shows to the platform that you are here to stay and not testing the waters of different platforms or giving up on your content delivery. I personally prefer “the shotgun approach” post many different content concepts and check your metrics. Find which video made the most impact on your viewers. Engagement is key. If your engagement drops right away you have some major work to do. If your engagement graph shows that the your viewers watched the entire video; you wouldn’t be reading this because you made it.

Use the algorithm to your advantage; do not waste your efforts on anything other than increasing your retention graph. It should be a flat line from start to finish at 100%. You will never pull this off because there’s always someone who clicks off your video; but you want your retention as close to 100% as possible for the entire video. This is the key. You can find out exactly where you lost the majority of your viewers every single time. If your engagement is low right off the bat your video will never show up in anyone’s feed. You will master content creation by consistently cranking out content and learning where your engagement drops off. Don’t post content that does poorly on the engagement graph or you will be hurting your stats.

Retention retention retention. Social media is not black magic. If you had 100% retention from start to finish your videos would be ranked higher than mr. Beast. People will always click off; even mr. Beast does not have a perfect 100% retention rate because all monetized channels drags their videos out for more ad revenue but your goal is to always improve your retention graph. If you aren’t monetizing there is no reason to add any filler content so you do have the ability to rank higher than vetted youtubers who want that monetization money. This will make you rapidly rise in the promotion algorithm.
