Database administrators have a clear set of job responsibilities defined when they join the company and most part of the DBA’s do everything defined in their roles and responsibilities except if the title is different or which includes senior/junior sort of titles. DBA’s do work on the same goals most of the time but if there is a discrepancy among the team, that is not a good place to work. Especially if the projects are not distributed among the teams properly. As a woman in IT, I have faced issues with work assignments when compared with male DBA’s in my previous company.
