Storyboarding is an important part of writing a convincing pitch book. First, the writer has to understand the audience and arrive at the highlights that the reader is interested in. Then, the storyboarding exercise starts wherein you have to structure the slides with headline, key points to cover and key message. All the stakeholders shall then discuss the storyboard and include anything that is needed. On consensus, the pitch book work will start. Storyboarding helps save time that could have got wasted in unnecessary iterations, deletions. It is key to follow: one slide - one message rule. This way the flow of the pitch don't feel crammed.

The sources of data is a key indicator on the reliance placed. Preferred sources in the order for credibility: First is *World renown organizations (WTO, World bank, OECD) *Recognized trade union research (for respective industries) *Research by educational institutes *Big 3 consulting firm reports *Big 4 research reports Always corroborate data from one source with another source just to be on the safer side.

No jumping headlines. Pictures can be so powerful to transport your message and to support your storyline - make use of it - also colors transport easily the story - e.g. green for positive and red for negative

In my experience very important to film the rehearsal, for example when you say, we are very excited to become your business partner and you don‘t smile at all - there is a mismatch between verbal and non-verbal communication
