There are a number things that need to be done to create seamless data mapping across teams. I'd inlude: 1. Define Clear Objectives and Scope 2. Choose the Right Tools 3. Adopt Agreed Upon Best Practices 4. Enhance Communication 5. Coordinate and Align Tasks 6. Test and Validate 7. Continuous Learning and Improvement Each of these could be expanded to its own article but, I believe, form a high-level framework for inter-team operability, uniformity, and clarity.

Though all the comments are very valid and excellent engineering suggestions, I would simply point out to have a common hosted place where different teams can publish their tsp/open API or swagger. This should be treated as a single source of truth and yes every incremental change should be tagged with utc datetime/ version. Teams collaboration productivity increases with automation and productivity for business points of view multiplied by communication/ meetings
