Es de suma importancia mantener las soluciones al corriente, conforme pasa el tiempo algunos equipos quedan obsoletos, por tanto sus conexiones eléctricas, dimensiones físicas, o forma de montaje deben de actualizarse según sea el caso, algunos softwares permiten realizar respaldos y control de revisiones, así como actualizar de forma libre sus librerías de símbolos y dibujos dimensionales para mantener actualizados nuestros proyectos eléctricos.

Uno de los puntos que tratamos en las reuniones con los clientes es la comunicación. La comunicación debe ser bidireccional y para ello usamos, entre otros, eView de ePlan. eView es una nube en donde subimos el proyecto del esquema eléctrico y las partes integradas en el desarrollo pueden hacer anotaciones en tiempo real, de esta manera tenemos un proyecto centralizado, digitalizado y actualizado durante todas las fases, evitando así muchos correos, llamadas y mensajes y acelerando el cumplimento del objetivo. Una vez finalizado el proyecto, este se queda alojado en la nube y puede seguir siendo modificado en función de las necesidades. Es una herramienta básica pero efectiva.

What i understand here from above question that , how to keep the CAD file secure and safe for long and i would draw attention that designs have been completed using other design software but we are speaking about drawings i.e. CAD files, if i am right?. So i suggest that there should be proper block assignment for each type of light fixtures and power outlets and each block should be unique. Must be there Arch.ref files and must be locked for any alterations.CAD designer shall must properly assign the layers and lock it. And must be its copy retained as original and final copy with proper revision.
