It is key to be clear on each term and what exactly it means to avoid confusion and at the same time to make this a collaborative process. E.g. getting first input through a workshop or survey and then having a team work on the terms to bring it back to the group for feedback. Taxonomy is key also for knowledge management, to ensure users find what they need, so it may also be useful to show the terms to outsiders to get feedback on how much they are aligned with the general understanding of such terms. Developing a hierarchy of these terms is key for managing documents and information effectively and also collecting similar terms to be able to add tags. This may be sensitive in some casesso effective communication about the process is key.

We need to make clear that we value diversity and that the purpose is not to align everything but rather to find some common ground to communicate effectively. 'Worldview intelligence' can be a useful practice to bring awareness to the fact that people with different worldviews use a different language to say the same thing and don't understand each other. A very powerful way to work beyond the language barriers are metaphors. Explaining some of the issues in metaphors and defining our vision in metaphors. We have also identified powerful questions together that we want to address to find some common ground around the issues we are facing. Formulated as questions, they are less likely to trigger colleagues with a different worldview.
