I disagree with the wording “job rejection “. In an employer market company are very choosy, so it has very little to do with your own personal experience and skills. Keep moving and most importantly forget about “rejection “, it’s simply selection. LinkedIn - however was in charge of the wording for Tigris specific question - definitely there’s room for improvement

Life is a never ending learning experience, stay ahead of the trends in the industry you are interested AND learn more about other industries where your skills are transferable. It will help you widening your opportunities. There’s nothing wrong with “Multi Industry Experience “ in fact there’s a blot of positive that come with it, starting from creative problem solving skills (you would have learned to solve issues using solutions coming from other industries or arts). This will make you a very valuable resource for a lot of employers.

Speaking from experience, sometimes you can get a refusal not only because of your CV or lack of skills, but also because of these reasons: 1) You are too good (overqualified) and the company worries if you will stay for a long time. 2) The nature of business, especially if it is a niche business and you have no any experience in it. They may need a ready professional in this business. 3) Your notice period. Sometimes companies want to start ASAP. 4) Company values and cultural diversity and fits. 5) HRs not able to assess your set of skills and core competence.
