My goal is to provide choice with the content teachers are exploring and how they will explore it. When leading workshops about PBL, I aim to design professional development that includes mandatory experiences (meaning everyone participates) and then optional experiences based on the educators' preferences. There could be a PBL workshop that all teachers attend because it provides the foundation of the instructional method, and I want to ensure we all have the same understanding. Afterward, teachers can select their follow-up PD based on their interest in subtopics related to PBL. They can also choose whether to have a group coaching call, engage in a workshop or peer collaboration, etc., offering choice in the delivery method.

Reflection is the process of thinking about what they have learned, how they have learned, and what they can do differently or better. Action is the process of applying what they have learned to their own practice or context.
