Most important is to Feedback easy, often and clear the results their work delivered. This can be a regular report that show traffic and conversion data about their resort, articles, topic cluster, etc. with this feedback loop the individual team member can learn which part actually is driving impact and is incentivized to do more of what works.

Everyone needs to find (and refine) their voice as a writer. So, it follows that a team of writers can't find their voice without plenty of space and freedom to 'fail'. Finding the 'right' voice can be tricky when you're trying to balance your personal tone with brand guidelines. This is particularly an issue in early career writers. I remember ditching the 'academic' voice picked up at uni, too! Professional development for your writing team doesn't have to be a formal course. Often, film or YouTube can teach just as much. Give writers space to have fun with their work and the rest will generally fall into place. Then, ask them what their preferred professional development path is. No path to being a great writer is the same.
