A successful concierge has a positive attitude and takes the initiative while being resourceful to ensure that the needs of guests are met, they also have excellent interpersonal skills such as patience and empathy. So that guests feel at ease during their stay

Well, I actually worked as a night auditor at the front desk, which also had the day shift. I saw many guests with questions ranging from cost of room to local information and even some I rather not say. I had multiple times when multiple people would be either checking in or out at the same time or accepting payment while doing wakeup call lists. I adapted the try not to let anyone get to anxious or impatient. Sometimes you have to have small talk to let them know you acknowledge they are there. I also found that if you put a schedule if things to get done at a specific time that helps. Overall guests do understand and are thankful for any attention given.

I've always made sure to use technology to keep me organized - using scheduling automatic reports, email follow-ups and task planning reminders, etc. Because you will always get interrupted or redirected from your intended schedule, and you need to roll with the punches without falling off track for the day.
