Knowing your audience is extremely important. Otherwise it is like barking at the elephant, no matter how gigantic elephant is ( compared to the dog), it will have no effect.

Values Are Everything Whatever you want to do, put your vision and values in front of you and make good use of them. Delivering a clear message that aligns with your vision and values will help you achieve your goals effectively. Remember, you can never build trust if you don't show your authentic self. Here my view is after identifying your audience, I will not only define our values and vision clearly but also will go one step further and identify how it matches with what they believe in. Meaning I will try to create a connection of my vision with their beliefs.
