For example, you may need to explain the HAZOP methodology, terminology, and assumptions to a non-technical audience, while focusing on the technical details and evidence for a technical audience. You may also need to highlight the benefits, risks, and costs of implementing or not implementing your recommendations for a decision-making audience, while emphasizing the actions, responsibilities, and timelines for an operational audience.

A best practice we have seen is to conduct awareness workshops after completing the Hazop study to effectively communicate the outcome of recommendations. All the stakeholders should be invited specifically the workers who will be implementing the action items and who will be impacted with that actions.
