Delegation is important and it’s often misinterpreted what delegation means. Delegation does not only mean to give certain tasks to your team members, but it also means to accept that they will perform these tasks THEIR way. A key part of delegation is letting go and trusting. This doesn’t mean you don’t at all have a look at how tasks or projects are done (e.g. in the 1:1s), but you only give advice and guidance, you don’t micromanage.
