This is dependent on the focus of your workshop; however in my 20 years experience, I have found that using technology to teach content is best eg if you are teaching basic Word skills, use scenarios/ tasks eg a typing a CV, typing a report to teach the skills associated with using Word. In this way you allow practice, skills are displayed and discussed and artifacts are immediately useful to the audience.

We are not perfect and as human beings we are born to make mistakes and there are always room for improvement. Thus, keeping all this in mind, we should, as presenters, need a feedback. This feedback from the audience will further indicate the gray areas and will also highlight the weaknesses. It has been seen and observed that we often do not take feedback positively or we try to ignore it by considering it only a criticism. But, in my perspective, this criticism and feedback is of great importance for our learning as well as evaluation of ourselves as the presenters. Therefore, presenters always design such tools (surveys, questionnaires) that give audience to reflect on the workshop which is beneficial for the presenters to improve.

Like any other teaching method ( like using storytelling, music, art, puppets, flashcards, objects to teach), you need to get experience using and refining that method so that it becomes easy for you to use in a flexible way to meet the needs of the students you have.
