You must consider the entire life cycle of the product . I have summarised the stages as below : Concept & Design: Incorporate eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient design from the start. Material Sourcing & Production: Use renewable, recycled materials and minimize emissions. Packaging & Distribution: Opt for recyclable or biodegradable packaging and efficient logistics. Use & Maintenance: Ensure durability, energy efficiency, and easy repair to extend lifespan. End-of-Life Management: Design for easy disassembly and promote recycling or repurposing. This approach minimises environmental impact, promotes the circular economy, and reduces waste.

Initially, it may be costly for the manufacturer but in the long run it can be profitable plus sustainable. - To make it a success: build a value supply chain because most important task is to capture the product from end customer after it’s no longer in use —> re-process it —> again float it in market for other customers.
