Accessibility is not only a legal requirement, but also a great way to improve your app's usability and reach more users. To design for accessibility, you should follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for web and mobile content. Some of the key aspects of accessibility are contrast, text, images, audio, navigation, and feedback. For contrast, you should use sufficient color contrast between text and background, and not rely on color alone to convey information. Text should be clear and simple with options to adjust size, font, and spacing. Images should have alternative text and graphs should not be images of text. Audio content should have captions and transcripts with the ability to control volume and playback. Navigation should be consistent and intuitive with support for multiple input methods such as touch, voice, or keyboard. Last but not least, feedback should be clear with timely messages such as error messages, progress indicators, or confirmation messages.
