How can you design a dashboard that is both beautiful and usable?

Every design should be beautiful and useful, not only dashboards. To achieve this, you must know your user. Who are you designing for? What will the dashboard be used for? What purpose will it serve. This can be done by carrying out surveys to know exactly what the users need. Then you collect your data, input useful and meaningful functionalities to the design. In as much as a dashboard can be complex and even sometimes overbearing due to too much of functions and features making sure to outline the key features and what informations is really needed will make it more intuitive to use
