A sufficiently aware group of professionals brain storming and enlist such threats is utmost required based on the product. Post enlist all such threats to be mitigated, solutions models in AI may be trained on all such past incidents and need to be updated regularly.

Building an iron clad security system for process systems is impossible. Really... I am not kidding. Even air gapped networks (which should be impenetrable) are defeated by lazy employees who unwittingly install virus carrying USB memory sticks on to the network. When a tech support event occurs, some one has to attach a USB WIFI dongle to allow the remote technician access. Combine the virus laden USB with the USB WIFI and you have the recipe for an outgoing data dump of your process data. Two mitigation steps: 1) Make sure your IT department knows which data files are most valuable to the company 2) Keep only the running recipe on the more vulnerable process controllers - the prize is your recipe database not just one recipe
