Here are some examples, I have heard: ??Sudden Project Changes: Once, a key project I was working on had its scope drastically changed midway due to client feedback. I adapted by re-evaluating our resources and timelines, and successfully led the team in altering our approach to meet the new requirements. ??Cultural Adaptation: In a previous international assignment, I was exposed to a significantly different work culture. I embraced this change by learning about the local work customs, which helped me build stronger relationships with local colleagues and clients. ??New Industry Standards: When industry regulations changed, affecting our services, I led my team in a rapid learning phase to understand these new standards.

I always look at any new qualifications, skills or knowledge that a person has acquired recently and examples of how this has been used at work. I also ask about blogs, articles or podcasts to see how future focused people are.

Embracing change is much about an adjustment in 'mindset'. Instead of looking it as 'Change', view it as an 'Opportunity'. And where there is Opportunity, there is an open door to making the future as you see it. Instead of this change occurring to us, I empower myself and my team to make Opportunity to occur to the situation by being optimistic, proactive and keeping a growth mindset.

I prefer tangible results that reflect that this person is goal focused and delivers on time and within budget. I also look for how many organisations as this reflects that a person can work in any culture and get things done.
